Choosing your first cloud certification
Start at foundation level — AZ-900, AWS Cloud Practitioner or Google Cloud Digital Leader — then move to an associate architect or administrator exam within six months while the material is fresh.
Breaking into cybersecurity
Security+ remains the most widely accepted entry point in India and the US. Follow with CEH or an ISACA credential for audit-facing roles, and target CISSP once you have five years of documented experience.
Getting PM certified
PMP requires documented project hours plus 35 contact hours of training. If you do not qualify yet, ITIL Foundation or a Scrum credential gives you a recognised badge while you accumulate experience.
Booking and sitting your exam
Online proctoring needs a clear desk, a stable 5 Mbps connection and a government photo ID. Test centres are the safer option for long exams and unreliable home networks.
Making the voucher count
Book your slot as soon as the code arrives — a fixed date is the single strongest predictor of actually sitting the exam. Keep at least four weeks of study time before the date you pick.
